What Makes it WOW
The ultimate attraction for Beatles fans, admission to The Beatles Story also includes entry to the Pier Head site, which houses the British Invasion exhibition. This special exhibition is co-curated by GRAMMYs Museum, LA, and focuses on how 1960s beat groups conquered America. The British Invasion is available to view, along with the fun and innovative Fab4D Cinema and The Beatles Hidden Gallery, which is a rare collection of images taken by photographer, Paul Berriff.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, the Beatles Story have a complete set of Sgt Pepper suits on display throughout the year. Also on display is a reproduction of the poster than John Lennon used as inspiration for the song “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite” from the famous album. These are part of a series of events to celebrate the golden anniversary of the album’s release as well as the wider celebrations of the Summer of Love across the city.
