Whipsnade Zoo is the UK’s largest zoo and is a great day out for animal lovers.
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is home to a menagerie of animals, and visitors can see them in their huge outdoor enclosures and wander around the many fantastic animal exhibits. You can see the many beasts that walked our land in ‘Wild Wild Whipsnade’, featuring bears, moose lynx and reindeer, or you can head over to see the big cats in the ‘Lions of Serengeti’, as well as beasts and cats, you can meet the chimps in the ‘Chimpanasium’. There are also many more animal exhibits, including ‘Elephant Herd’, ‘Cheetah Rock’ and ‘Birds of the World’. In addition to the larger outdoor exhibits, there is also a smaller indoor ‘Discover Centre’ exhibit which houses a number of smaller, exotic animals such as snakes, spiders and chameleons.
