TRAVEL AMBASSADOR TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern the application process to fulfill the Wowcher #DreamJob travel ambassador role vacancy (the "Travel Ambassador Role")


The Travel Ambassador Role is a fixed-term contract with Wowcher Limited, a company registered in England & Wales with company number 04264984 and whose registered address is Wowcher Towers, 12-27 Swan Yard, Islington, London N1 1SD ("Wowcher").

The terms of the contract between Wowcher and the chosen travel ambassador will be agreed by Wowcher once the successful travel ambassador is chosen.


You may apply for the Travel Ambassador Role by submitting an application in the form of a social media post on Instagram and/or Twitter in accordance with these terms and conditions ("Application").

Conditions of Application

1. By submitting an Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. To apply for the Travel Ambassador Role, you must submit a valid Application to Wowcher in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

3. By submitting an Application which includes videos and/or photos, you:

(i) Grant Wowcher a perpetual, royalty-free right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to the Application (including but not limited to text, images or video materials) worldwide; and waive any moral rights in the Application.

(ii) Nothing will oblige Wowcher to use your Application and Wowcher reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decide (i) whether to use the Application and (ii) if it uses the Application, how and when to display the Application.


4. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying and be eligible to travel (for example, by having a valid passport). Proof of eligibility to travel must be provided upon request.

5. Applicants agree to provide reasonable cooperation to allow Wowcher to use the name and/or likeness of the applicant for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Application including but not limited to publication of the applicant's name and photograph on Wowcher's  websites. In addition, by submitting an Application, applicants agree to grant Wowcher a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to any materials contained in the Application (including but not limited to text, images or video materials) (the "Materials") worldwide and/or to incorporate the Materials in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in the Materials. By submitting Materials, an applicant:

a) warrants that the Materials are its own original work and that it has the right to make them available for all the purposes specified above; that it does not infringe any law; that it is not obscene or libellous; and that it does not violate the rights of any third party;

b) agrees to indemnify Wowcher against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred as a result of a breach of the above warranty; and

c) agrees to waive any moral rights in the Materials for the purposes of its submission to, and publication by, Wowcher and the purposes specified above.


6. To submit an Application, you must follow the steps outlined on Wowcher's website here.

7. All Applications must comply with the following requirements.  Please ensure that your Application does comply with these requirements, because otherwise your Application will not be considered.  The requirements are as follows:

(i) Applications must consist of a short video of up to 30 seconds showing why you would be the perfect candidate for the Travel Ambassador Role;

(ii) Applications must be submitted on Instagram or Twitter by tagging @Wowcher with the hashtags #WowcherDreamJob and #WowcherMysteryHoliday. Please ensure that you use both hashtags, because otherwise Wowcher may not see your Application and your Application will not be deemed to be valid;

(iii) Applications must be posted on Instagram and/or Twitter by no later than 11.59pm London time on Monday 30 December 2019. Applications posted after this time will not be considered and no correspondence will be entered into;

(iv) Applications must tag at least three friends; and

(iv) The social media account from which an Application is submitted must be following @Wowcher on that social media platform.


8. A selection of Applications will be chosen to progress to the next stage in the interview process.  Further details will be communicated to applicants whose Applications pass the first stage of the process.

9. In the event of a conflict between the Application requirements set out in these terms and conditions and those requirements set out on the Wowcher website at https://www.wowcher.co.uk/page/wowcher-dream-job.html, then the requirements as set out on the Wowcher website here shall take precedence.

10. Wowcher will not accept:

(i) responsibility for Applications which are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;

(ii) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition; or

(iii) Applications which do not comply with the requirements as set out at https://www.wowcher.co.uk/page/wowcher-dream-job.html.


11. Wowcher will only contact those applicants who have been selected to proceed to the next stage of the application process, via direct message on the applicable social media platform.

12. Wowcher's decision as to which applicants proceed the next stage of the application process is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

13. Wowcher will process your personal information as set out in Wowcher's privacy policy, available here.

14. Wowcher reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the terms of the Travel Ambassador Role vacancy or job application process where it becomes necessary to do so.

15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
