Liverpool Christmas Market
Liverpool's Christmas market is back for 2022, and you'll find it at St John's Gardens, William Brown Street and the North entrance of St George's Hall. The market will have a whole range of stalls selling you the top Christmas gifts for friends and family, personalised decorations to spruce up your home with, arts and crafts and jewellery perfect for gifting to loved ones! Take a quick break from the shopping and grab a bite to eat, with options like Yorkshire pudding wraps, sausages, burgers and vegan alternatives, you'll be spoilt for choice. You'll also be kept well entertained with a big wheel and snow slide in Santa's village! For the adults, there are lots of festive bars around, so you can enjoy a Christmas tipple or two.
Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival
Looking for a winter wonderland? Then you definitely want to pay a visit to the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival! The ice rink keeps you sheltered whilst you skate so don't worry about the weather, as you'll be lapping up that festive feeling. Liverpool's iconic Pier Head is completed with thrilling rides, delicious food and drink stalls to keep you merry and bright, and so much more! If you're feeling brave, why not give the real ice slides a go? You'll get an amazing view of the whole festival and the city whilst you're up there! You must have a go on the UK's only ice jet ride before you leave, what an incredible experience.
Williamson Square Walk-Through Christmas Tree
This beautiful event is returning to Liverpool once again this year! The stunning tree is an impressive 16 metre high artificial tree, which is the ideal location to grab that festive selfie you've been waiting all year for. The LED Christmas tree shines brightly with a range of festive colours, and there's plenty of Christmas cheer being spread around at this time of year!
Christmas Crooners
Who doesn't enjoy a show at Christmas? In its 12th record breaking year, the Christmas Crooners are returning with a catalogue full of the biggest festive hits, including Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole! The amazing cast of West-End singers will be accompanied by the swing band The Jazz-All Stars, so you can expect to have an amazing night. Dance and sing your hearts out to over 30 Christmas classics, including Baby It's Cold Outside, White Christmas, Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night. It features a warm setting with Christmas trees, a rocking chair, and a fireplace for roasting those chestnuts on! What are you waiting for? Come and have a good old sing along and get in the festive spirit with friends and family!
Santa Dash
No Christmas is complete without a Santa Dash! Liverpool's Santa Dash is the biggest and longest established Santa Dash in the UK, so it's well worth getting involved with this one. The 5k fun run is a great event to do with your friends and family, and remember it's the taking part that counts! You'll start at Pier Head by the Liver building, and you'll soon see that by 9:30am the whole area is full of Santas. The route will take you through the city centre, passing the Royal Albert Dock, and back along the waterfront before you finish by the Town Hall! Once you've completed the race, you'll be greeted with giant Christmas characters and a whole flurry of snow to celebrate. If you do want to take part or just want to show your support for other runners, the event takes place on Sunday 4th December.
Luminate Light Trail
The Luminate Light Trail at Walton Hall Gardens is a 1.4k route that is full of captivating bright lights! This enchanting journey features 3D projections and light tunnels and plenty of interactive elements, so you'll be kept well entertained on your journey. The lights are all set to ambient music, which creates a wonderful festive atmosphere! Your trail will start by the stables in the courtyard and there is a clear easy route to follow and takes roughly 60 to 90 minutes to complete. As you're walking, you can stop and warm up by the fire pit and toast some yummy marshmallows to keep you cosy! This is the perfect evening festive event for the whole family to do together, and you can get involved from 24th November to Christmas Eve.
Love Actually In Concert
Everyone's favourite Christmas film and season romcom is back again for the full concert experience! Love Actually tells ten separate, but interweaving stories of love at Christmas time, so get ready to feel the love this Christmas! A full live orchestra will perform the score and the film will be projected behind on a huge screen. We guarantee it'll be an amazing experience that you'll never forget! You can catch the performance at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Monday 28th November 2022.
