For six of our influencers, their ideal gift this Mother’s Day is a spa day, with five planning to gift a spa day to their mothers too. Clearly it’s a popular gift and for good reason!
A spa day or break is the perfect chance for any mum to unwind and relax. You can either treat your mum to a solo spa day, a mother daughter spa day or a spa day with one of their closest friends.
When choosing a spa day for your mum, our influencers recommend picking a package with treatments like a massage. These are perfect for busy mums who usually don’t have time to unwind.
Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is a Mother’s Day classic. Freshly brewed tea, scones, a cheeky glass of prosecco - who wouldn’t love it?

To make the meal even more special, try to avoid dishes and cuisine she often cooks at home. Choose a restaurant with dishes she loves but doesn’t get to eat a lot or opt for a glamorous fine dining experience with 3 courses under glittering chandeliers (because no one can resist a night of fun and glamour!)
Family Day Out
“I’d like a family trip”
Time with the family can be rare and precious, especially with the hustle and bustle of life taking over. That’s why seven of our influencers are hoping to have a day out with their family this Mother’s Day.
There are plenty of ways you can enjoy a day out with your mum without taking her to a spa. The most important thing is choosing an activity that suits her interests and hobbies, as mum’s often sacrifice their enjoyment to make sure the rest of the family has fun.
Is there an activity your mum has always wanted to try but hasn’t had the time? Is she a creative person who doesn’t have time to create as often as she’d like? Does she enjoy spending time in nature or doing wellness activities like a yoga class?

Glamping trips are a great choice for a nature escape. Find a location that has a hot tub for some evening relaxation. For a holiday abroad or hotel stay, choose a family friendly resort - this will give her time to rest while the kids are entertained!

Flowers are a Mother’s Day classic - 50% of our influencers will be expecting or giving flowers this year! Not only are they a beautiful way to brighten the home, there are so many different bouquets and arrangements you can get to personalise them.
You can choose a classic bouquet of pastel flowers like tulips and carnations, or an arrangement with a bottle of wine and chocolates. Add ribbons, jewellery or cuddly toys to transform Mother’s Day flowers even more.
