- Day 1: After arriving in Amman on Sunday (Tours run Sunday to Sunday to coincide with low-cost Easyjet flights) you’ll be driven to the Al Waleed Hotel and introduced to the local area. You’ll then have the remainder of the day free to explore Jordan’s fascinating capital.
- Day 2: Day 2 will kick off with breakfast in the hotel before a tour of Amman’s city centre will take you from the Citadel to the majestic Roman amphitheatre with plenty of time to shop up a storm in the local bazaars. During the afternoon you’ll visit the well-preserved Roman site of Jerash.
- Day 3: After breakfast you’ll cruise down the Desert highway en-route to the iconic Red sea beach resort in Aquaba. Once at the resort you’ll have the option to go snorkelling or scuba diving (for an additional cost, enquire when booking) in search of coral, fish and sea-creatures or simply relax amongst the idyllic coastal surroundings before checking in to the Marina Plaza hotel.
- Day 4: The morning will see you head to the Aqaba Fort – a well-preserved 14th century castle – before heading north to Wadi Rum. Also known as The Valley of the Moon (thanks to its luna-esque landscape) the incredible desert scenery will unfold before you as you enjoy a 4WD Jeep safari through the sand dunes, taking in the towering cliffs and bizarre rock formations. Those who want to carry on exploring by camel will have the option to do so, before sleeping under the stars in a traditional Bedouin camp. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included.
- Day 5: You’ll head north again to witness the majestic 12th century Shobak Castle before travelling on to Little Petra where you’ll see an array of incredible buildings carved into the sandstone. You'll stay at the Amra Palace. Includes breakfast.
- Day 6: A full day will be spent at the world-renowned Nabatean site of Petra – a city carved into the rocks and left undiscovered for centuries – truly a sight that has to be seen to be believed. As well as a guided tour of the area you’ll have ample opportunity to wander at leisure and make the day your own. Includes breakfast and lunch.
- Day 7: Wave farewell to beautiful Petra as you travel on via the scenic King’s Highway. You’ll pass through farmland, small villages and olive groves whilst winding up and down incredible valleys including Wadi Mujib. Stops will be made to visit Kerak crusader castle, Roman mosaics at Madaba and the awe-inspiring views from the top of Mt. Nebo. Your final destination of the day is the Dead Sea where you’ll be able to float and swim in the salty water before returning to Amman. Breakfast included.
- Day 8: Enjoy Amman at your leisure before being driven to the airport for your return flight.
