- Day 1: After arriving in Bali you’ll be transferred to Candidasa where you’ll stay at the unforgettable beachfront resort of Puri Bagus Candidasa , which was awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in 2013. The night is yours to relax so why not get a taste for the local cuisine at the open-air restaurant or unwind at ocean-side bar.
- Day 2: After your hotel breakfast you’ll visit Tirta Gangga, a royal water garden with incredible stonework set amongst leafy surroundings. Then you’ll stop at a Sibetin village where you can witness the locals make snake skin fruit jam before stopping for lunch and continuing on to the traditional village of Tenganan. Once one of the most secluded societies of the archipelago, this community is known for its traditional ceremonies and adherence to ancient Balinese cultures. Then it’s back to the hotel for some you time.
- Day 3: You’ll head to Lovina via a few camera-friendly pit-stops. You’ll visit a bat cave temple, a salk-making farm and the famous Kehen temple with its ingrowing banyan tree. Then it’s uphill for an incredible view of Mount Batur and Batur Lake. Here you’ll enjoy an Indonesian buffet before taking the final leg of your journey to Lovina via a few more temples with awe-inspiring views over the volcanic landscape. When you arrive at the small coastal town of Lovina, you’ll stay at the Puri Bagus Lovina hotel, which also has a 2013 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, where you can enjoy an evening of leisure.
- Day 4: Enjoy a breakfast cruise around the idyllic coastline before returning to land for an day of leisure.
- Day 5: This day starts with an early morning dolphin tour where you’ll board a boat at 5.30am in search of Flipper. When the tour’s finished, you’ll head back to shore for breakfast and then head out for more watery fun at the Munduk village waterfall and tropical plantation. The journey to Ubud is paved by countless stretches of Indonesia’s iconic rice fields so make sure there’s still space on your memory card. When you arrive in Ubud you’ll stay at the Rama Phala Resort and Spa or similar, right in the heart of this artistic Balinese town.
- Day 6: Make sure you eat all you can for breakfast as this day is packed full of exciting adventure! The fun begins with 9.6km of white water rafting through rapids and towering gorges. Supervised by experienced guides this is sure to be an unforgettable 2 hour experience. Having showered and changed you’ll then feast on a gourmet buffet overlooking majestic mountains and rice fields. Next you’ll take in the wonders of the jungle of Taro whist sitting in a wooden chair on top of an elephant! You know what they say; ‘once you’ve seen the beauty of a safari park from the top of a trunked friend, everything else is irrelephant’.
- Day 7: Your final day includes a Barong Dance show at Batubalan followed by a visit to the Art Villages and lunch at Lake Leke or Sawah Indah Restaurant. At noon you’ll go to the Royal Family temple before meeting Indonesia’s cheeky primates at Kedaton Monkey Forest. Hold on to your cameras tight though as these fellas are photo-enthusiasts! Your tour ends with a stunning sunset before being dropped off at the airport or at the resort if you simply can’t leave!
