About Us: The Falconry School is a small establishment dedicated to showing best practices in how to care for, handle and fly birds of prey, for the purposes of falconry. Falcon: The afternoon session takes our participants and spectators into the field, where they can experience the thrill of their first hawk (and usually owl as well) flying to them and landing gently on their outstretched glove. Fly High: Some falcons will be flown to swing lures, mimicking the flight of their natural prey. Some will be flown to lures suspended on kites or balloons many hundreds of feet in the air.
